In short
Plan it yourself if you are flexible, comfortable with buses and local arrangements, and enjoy the logistics. Coordinated planning helps most when your dates are fixed, you do not ride, you want drivers or boats arranged in advance, or you want one written plan with clear prices and contacts.

When doing it yourself works well
Laos is a friendly, easy country for independent travel on the main routes. If you have time, flexible dates and patience with departures that leave when full, you can do a great deal on your own, and this site’s guides are written to help you.
When help is worth it
- Your dates are fixed, or you have a flight to catch.
- You do not ride, and want the places that are usually reached by motorbike.
- You would rather have drivers, boats and rooms arranged before you go.
- You want one written plan with all transfers, prices, inclusions and contacts.
That is what we do. See how it works for the process.
Questions travelers ask
Is your planning free?
Yes. Asking questions and receiving a proposal costs nothing and does not commit you. You pay only if you accept a proposal.
Can I book only one part, such as the Kong Lor driver?
Yes. Many requests are for a single leg or a few days. Tell us what you need.
Tell us where you want to go, not how to get there
Share your dates, the places on your list and how you feel about motorbikes. We reply by email with a realistic route, and when you are ready, a written proposal with transfers, prices, inclusions and who provides each part of the trip.
